Our brown oak veneer has been treated with a matt brown wood-dye. This shade fits well with a retro or Scandinavian style kitchen. The grain direction on the fronts is vertical, which ensures a sense of unity in your kitchen. Veneer is a high-quality alternative to solid oak. The veneer is 1 millimeter thick, thicker than usual so it can still be processed. Not looking for an IKEA Metod kitchen, but in need of custom measurements? The finish ‘fine sawn’ means that light, horizontal saw cuts are visible on the wood. These saw marks give the wood a robust character; as if it had been prematurely removed from the sawmill. Our solid oak fronts are finished with an ultra-matt clear coating, which protects them well against moisture and grease, and makes them easy to clean.
Our standard fronts have a milled handle for a handle-less effect. It is also possible to order a front without the handle profile so that your own handles can be mounted.
Our oak and oak veneer come from European forests and are sustainably harvested. All standard panels have a rustic look, but are also available in A-quality. This would mean that there are few knots in it and that it is ‘error-free’, which gives a calmer look.
