The fine oak veneer with a 5% white wash finish gives the wood a light white haze, with the grain accentuating the white even more. This shade fits well in a timeless or rustic style. The grain direction on the fronts is vertical, creating unity in your kitchen. Veneer is a high-quality alternative to solid oak. The veneer is 1 millimeter thick, making it easy to work with. Need custom-made panels instead of IKEA Metod? That’s possible too.
The “brushed” finish means that the soft wood between the grains has been brushed away, creating a natural relief that brings the wood to life. These solid oak fronts are finished with a Rubio Monocoat hard wax oil in the white 5% color, which provides good protection against moisture and grease and makes them easy to clean.
The fronts can be equipped with a handleless profile for a handleless effect. It is also possible to use one of our handles. Check out our range of handles here.
Our oak and oak veneer comes from European forests and is sustainably harvested. All panels are standardly delivered in a rustic appearance but are also available in an A-grade quality. That means they have fewer knots and are “defect-free,” giving them a more peaceful appearance.
