A robust edge
This kitchen consists of sober and calm materials, but still it has a robust edge. This is of course due to the sturdy concrete worktop, but also because the oak is brushed. This makes the natural wood grain more visible. This doesn’t only add to the ‘look’, it also adds to the ‘feel’.
A grand gesture
In this case, a long kitchen unit was a worthy alternative to a kitchen island – something that at first didn’t fit in the available space. Moreover, the kitchen has now become more of a statement. What we noticed is that leaving out hanging cabinets creates a lot of space.
